[Cahill-Recreation] URGENT: 2012 Summer Softball League!

Hey All!

I need you to tell me by Friday, May 25 if you think you can play softball this summer on Monday nights, at 5:15 or 6:30pm.

We're hoping to field another summer softball team (the Big Bangers) this year, but our usual league (the D-league) filled up before we could register a team.

Instead, we can play in the somewhat more competitive C-League.  As we've been to the championship game in the D-League the last 4 years, I think we can play in the C-League and have a fun time, though likely without the level of dominance to which we are accustomed!

The C-League plays on Monday nights, and games are either at 5:15 or 6:30 depending on the night, and the usually league runs from early June to late July or early August.

Please let me know ASAP if you're interested in playing! You don't need to commit to coming every week (pretty much everyone does some summer traveling, it's nbd), but we need to get a rough count of numbers to determine if we can even field a team, and registration is due by tomorrow (Friday, May 25), which means we have to determine whether we'll have a team or not by that 4pm tomorrow... so send me a Y/N by then. Again, this isn't a commitment, but if we don't have at least 15 people who think they can play fairly often, we won't have a softball team this year :(

Apologies to those who receive multiple copies of this email, and sorry for the short notice... your softball organizers have been traveling on observing runs and honeymoons, respectively!
